I am located in Birmingham but will cover anywhere in the West Midlands (occasionally going further afield). I have no expensive offices to run and therefore, expenses and overheads are extremely low. I am mobile and will travel to meet Clients, as opposed to Clients having to travel to get to me for help. Anywhere in the West Midlands is covered without the need for travelling expenses. Anywhere outside of the West Midlands, will be charged at a rate of 40p/mile.(from the West Midlands boundary). I specialise in all issues relating to family law and divorce. I have a set fee of £500 for a divorce. This does not include Court costs. I have specific fees for issues regarding finances and children (mostly residence and contact). For other areas of law, I charge an hourly rate that is far below that of the majority of other lawyers/law firms. I do not undertake Legal Aid or other publicly funded work. Please feel free to contact me if you require affordable legal services. I give impartial, objective advice that I know my Clients feel is useful and allows them to move forward in whatever they choose to do about the issues they have. I also operate a discount structure for family law & divorce cases which is unrivalled by any other law firm as far as I am aware. I am also proud to state that to date, I have never lost a case. For an initial meeting, I charge £20 for 30 minutes or £35 for an hour. This is only for an initial meeting to discuss the issues to be dealt with. I do not give legal advice over the phone (unless I have already taken on a case), by text message or via e-mail. Once a Client has agreed to employ my services, money is paid on account/in advance of any costs arising. Monies left over at the end of the case are returned to the Client. If you contact me by telephone, please do not withhold your number. I do not accept calls from private/withheld numbers.
